Maria has been a part of the Disability Resources team at Texas A&M since 2000. She started as an associate staff member in the Testing Center while working on her undergraduate degree. After graduating from A&M, she became an Access Coordinator and is now part of the department’s leadership team. Maria has a B.A. in Psychology from Texas A&M and an M.A. in Counseling from Prairie View A&M.

As an Associate Director for the department, Maria supervises the Testing Center and serves as an Access Coordinator for students in Veterinary Medicine. When she’s not busy with work, Maria loves spending time with her children and furry friends – her cats and a dog!
