The Testing Center in Disability Resources provides an equitable environment for Texas A&M students that require exam accommodations due to a disability need. Our friendly and helpful staff and proctors are here to ensure students’ accommodations are fully accessible, all while upholding the integrity of exams.
Working Together – Communicate and Collaborate!
Communication is the key to a successful collaboration between instructors and students!
We highly encourage instructors and students to take the time at the beginning of each semester to discuss the required exam accommodations and determine if the student will use the Disability Resources Testing Center, or if the instructor will be able to provide the requested accommodation(s) in another setting (such as the classroom, a conference room, in an office or online).
Important notes – for Fall 2024
- Please schedule all your exams now so that you don’t miss the scheduling deadline and risk taking an exam without accommodations.
- Provide at least 5 business days (1 full week) advance notice when scheduling.
- Schedule your exams at the same time/date as the rest of the class.
- When scheduling at a different time than your class, you must obtain prior approval from your instructor.
- The deadline for scheduling all end of semester exams and finals is November 15 at 5:00 p.m.
For Final Exam Week (December 5-10), please note that due to space and staff needs the standard start times for Disability Resources during final exam week will be: 8:00am, 11:00am, 2:00pm and 5:00pm.
We are here for You!
