What type of accessible seating is available in Kyle Field for students with physical and health related disabilities?
There are designated areas within the student sections of Kyle Field (consideration seating) for students with special health needs who are unable to stand during the game and for students using a wheelchair or other mobility device. Companion seating is also available. For more information on these seats contact the 12th Man Foundation Athletic Ticket Office at [email protected] or 1-888-99-AGGIE and let them know you have a disability accommodation question.
How can I obtain student tickets for accessible seating for home games at Kyle Field during student ticket pull?
Special Health Needs
Students who are not able to stand during games may pull consideration seats by presenting their sports passes at the designated window at Kyle Field. These seats are limited and will be filled starting Monday the week of each home game regardless of classification.
Wheelchair or other mobility device
Students requiring wheelchair spaces for attendance at games may pull tickets by presenting their sports passes at the designated window at Kyle Field. These requests will be filled starting Monday the week of each home regardless of classification.
If you are unable to go to the ticket windows to pull student tickets, you would need to email [email protected] requesting the online form to pull your student tickets online. Please include your name and UIN when requesting the form.
How do I get to my seat once I have arrived at Kyle Field?
At Entry #7 (North-east entrance across from the Koldus Building) and Entry #9 (Southeast entrance across from Koldus building) there will be an elevator that accesses the 2nd and 3rd deck levels of the student seating area. There will also be escalators in the North-east tower (near entry 7) that access decks 2 and 3 for individuals that are able to use them.
Please note that some designated student seating is in the south end zone area which is not close to the elevators or escalators. Please alert the Athletic Ticket Office if you have mobility concerns so you can be guided to choose seating closer to the elevator and escalator access points.
Additional elevators are available throughout the stadium and are detailed on the Kyle Field Accessibility page hosted by Athletics.
What about transportation and parking?
Transportation Services maintains a resource page that summarizes the options for bus shuttles (including paratransit shuttles), disabled parking and other options available. Paratransit questions should be directed to (979) 847-RIDE (7433). Other questions can be directed to Transportation Services at (979) 862-7275.
This information is also available on the Kyle Field Accessibility page hosted by Athletics.
What type of assistance is available to me if I wish to attend midnight yell practice?
Students will use the accessible seating inside the stands on deck 1 for Midnight Yell. Students who need accessible seating should use Entry #7 (North-east entrance across from the Koldus Building). There should be volunteers available to direct individuals to the accessible seating areas.
