Electronic Accommodation Letter Process

In an effort to make the accommodation letter process efficient and convenient Disability Services makes an electronic copy PDF of the student's accommodations letter available through the Tracker Online website each semester that the student registers for services.  Students no longer need to physically come to the Disability Services office to pick up hard copies of their letter and forms.  

Standardized Letters

The letter is standardized and not written for a specific class/instructor.  One accommodation letter will be used for all classes for that particular semester.  The student will be able to print or share as many copies as they need.

Once the student registers with the office each semester (by attending an in-person appointment or by completing the online Quick Registration process) the accommodation letter will be accessible to the student though Tracker Online ( on the new “Letter” tab.  The student can then print out copies of the letter to take with them when they meet with their instructor(s) – OR -   the student can save a copy of the PDF and then e-mail the accommodation letter to their instructor(s).

Communication with Instructors

Students are still responsible for scheduling a time to discuss the accommodations included in the letter with their course instructors to work out the specific details for how to meet the documented accommodation needs.
